I get this question often: What colors work well with newborn photographs?

For newborn photographs I believe generally, lighter solid colors are great.
I love moms in neutral colors, white is always great, but anything in the light pastel range.
Dads look great in button down shirts. Be mindful of shirts with logos, those can be really distracting.

Keep it simple. Plain, solid, neutral colors.

Stay away from busy patterns and stripes, they can be overpowering and drown out the people in the images. If you have any questions about what to wear, or if what you’ve chosen will photograph well, ask me! I’m always happy to give you my thoughts, and let you know what I think will work best.
