After newborns, the eight month mark is my next favorite time to do portraits. It is right around that time that they can sit up, but they aren’t walking yet. They’ll play with their feet, wiggle their toes. At 8ish months, they definitely already have a personality, they’re laughing, trying to talk, and can read facial expressions. Babies this age engage with the camera, well, the person behind it, and are really great to photograph. Wait a couple more months…. And they can’t wait to run away!
